What is a clinical research study?
A clinical research study is a scientific study of how a new medicine or treatment works for people. Through clinical research studies, physicians find new and better ways to prevent, detect, diagnose, control and treat illnesses.
All of our clinical research studies are conducted by a physician in conjunction with other medical professions.
- Research studies are conducted at King’s Daughters Clinic, by King’s Daughters physicians.
- Participates will receive all of the studies medicine, lab and radiology services, physicals and monitoring free of charge.
- No insurance required.
- Even if you have insurance and it is out of network at King's Daughters Clinic you may participate in a clinical research study.
- All patient names and other identification is kept highly confidential.
- Patients may be eligible to receive compensation for their time and travel.
- Access to a large array of studies.
King's Daughters Clinic will provide a clinical research coordinator to help you through the study participation. The coordinator will arrange all of your doctor visits and answer any questions you might have about the study. King's Daughters Clinic physicians will perform all necessary medical procedures.
