Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

King’s Daughters Clinic Women’s Center physicians are trained and experienced in laparoscopic hysterectomies which offer smaller incisions and quicker recovery times for patients who meet the criteria for this type of procedure.

LEEP Procedure

Loop Electrosurgical Excision Proceedure (LEEP) utilizes a low-voltage electrical current to remove abnormal tissues of the cervix for pathological evaluation.

Mammography

Mammography is the process of using low-dose x-rays to examine breast tissue. The purpose of mammography is the early detection of breast diseases or cancer.

NovaSure Procedure

NovaSure is an out-patient procedure used to control heavy menstrual bleeding by removing the lining of the uterus.  It is a one time, minimally invasive surgical ablation treatment which leaves the uterus intact.

Osteoporosis Screening

Bone density scanning is an osteoporosis screening tool that uses an enhanced form of x-ray to measure bone loss by visualizing the lower spine and hips to screen for low bone mass.

Surgery Center of Temple, conveniently located adjacent to our main Temple Clinic, offers quality, cost-effective out-patient surgical services to our community.
